Selecting wine cellar racks and planning wine cellar designs

Selecting wine cellar racks and planning wine cellar designs

Wine storage racks are the cornerstone of just about any cellar, whether for your house, restaurant, retail store, or vacation property. Intended for both protecting and showcasing your collection in style, they are an important furnishing that you wouldn't dare overlook. They have to be strong enough to safely hold the combined weight of your precious bottles, and be pleasing to the eye. Wall wine racks need to be secured in place with the appropriate fasteners to ensure the entire thing doesn't come crashing down once loaded up. Likewise, wine glass racks hold equally valuable items and showcase your stemware in style. Some types may be combined with wine storage racks, which are ideal when space is limited and you have a smaller inventory to deal with.

You may already have a clear idea of what you are searching for when shopping for wine storage racks. If you aren't so certain, it may be helpful for you to first identify the primary purpose you wish to achieve. Do you seek pure utility, or is a certain style that blends in or compliments your existing d?cor more important? Would wall wine racks be more suitable? Perhaps you are looking for wine glass racks to conserve room in your bar or kitchen. Chances are good you can find the perfect mix and won't have to compromise to fulfill your needs and desires. Unlike the limited selection your local merchants may carry, the wide variety of online retailers combined with full manufacturer product lines, are sure to accomplish your goals and turn your vision into reality.

An important aspect of wine cellar designs, one must take into consideration both the wine cellar racks and other items such as the primary wine cellar equipment. It may be beneficial to determine what your needs are, before even getting into budgeting or space restraints. Are you looking for something that is purely a utility room to safely stock your inventory, or do have grand plans for an extravagant - yet well planned and fully functional - and luxurious cellar that will proudly showcase your prized collection prominently on custom built wine cellar racks. Whichever you choose, it pays to do you research and explore the many options available to you.

Some people may caution you not to rush out and purchase all your wine cellar equipment until after your basic plan has come together. However, thought should be put into some of these key items as large items like refrigeration, bottling and dispensing units, and other accessories may in fact consume large areas of space. Good wine cellar designs should incorporate all aspects of the final vision, and assist in producing a functional and appealing room that you can get maximum enjoyment from. Simply filling a room with some expensive wine cellar racks and putting bottles on them won't wow your guests or magically increase the resale value of a property. Taking the time to seek out quality furnishings and find attractive prices that meet your budget will pay off in the long run once your vision comes to fruition.

Super savings for residential and commercial applications can easily be found online. If you want wall wine racks that are custom built, or would prefer a modular system that can be changed as your collection grows, I encourage you to explore the wide range of styles, materials, and designs showcased online by some of the leading manufacturers of wine glass racks.

Ch Pontac Lynch - Margaux - Cru Bourgeois - "Cuvee Special"

"Imitate no one and make your own name in Margaux" is the challenge that Marie-Christine Bondon has been taking up since 1998 when she became administrator and manager of Chateau Pontac-Lynch. Nestled between Ch. Margaux and Ch. Palmer, the shared micro-climate and soil is evident in its obvious quality. This lovely red is a great discovery and an excellent value. This is the Chateaux's "Cuvee Special" from the 2003 vintage. A blend of 40% Cabernet s., 30% Cabernet f., 20% Merlot, and 10% Petit verdot (the majority of the regular Cuvee is made with Merlot) this wine is barreled for 1 year in 70% new French Oak barrels instead of 40% new oak barrels for the regular cuvee. Only 500 cases of this wine were made and the winery hand-harvested the grapes and then employed a rigorous examination process of the grapes inside the winery to make sure only the best made it into the crush. The new oak gives the 2003 Cuvee Special a very smoky nose to compliment the outstanding depth of fruit on both the nose and palate. From a great vintage, this wine will easily last 15-20 years and possibly longer. PONN03 PONN03

Innumerous Profits of Wine

Hey wine consumers! There is good news for all of you. It has been scientifically proved that red wine is beneficial for
heart and the white wine is good for lungs. Well, this doesn't stop here. A wine plays a very crucial role in adding stars to
many other organs - in short, wine is beneficial to many organs. The health profits of wine exceed the human body, rebuffing to
develop a monogamous relationship with any one part.

Here are few imperceptible ways wine is actually assisting you or has the ability to assist you in future.

Obesity: The term "beer belly" usually portrays that alcohol
might have been the main causative in increasing the size of your belly. Well,
that's entirely wrong; wine is in fact proven to aid the severely obese person.
In order to try this out, consume the wine that does not contain sugar, at least
four or five times (little quantity) at dinnertime or bedtime. One study on
this particular part says that the one who consume the sugarless wine resulted
in average weight loss twice that of those who didn't. In addition to all the
heavenly property it also helps in ridding the tensions and anxiety of the body.

Old Age: Old age is not an illness. However it is a difficulty
to our health. Still, it's a difficulty those of us in adolescence hope to obtain
someday. Growing old might bring lot of troubles. Wine can help in their relief.
For starters, wine reduces the reliance on certain tablets, particularly tablets
that relax and anesthetize people. Wine has also resulted in increasing the
appetite, confidence and social lives of those in old age.

Cleverness: Averagely, people who consume wine are of higher
education levels when compared with those who don't consume alcohol or drink
far too much. This is not trying to convey that you should, Merlot in hand,
roll your eyes at the stupidity of someone drinking a beer, but it's comforting
to know wine drinkers are in good, and smart, company.

Cancer: Red wine containing the pulp of grape consists of
innumerous antioxidants; this antioxidant helps in preventing cancer. Wine is
loaded with defensive and protective affects. A scientific research says that,
woman who ingests 12 glasses of wine per week were satisfied with an 83 percent
decrease in endometrial cancer rates.

Kidney Cancer is proved to have a enemy called 'wine'. According to a study
carried out in Sweden by Dr. Alicja Wolk of the Karolinska Institute, women
who consume fair amounts of wine had a very minimum kidney cancer risk on comparison.

Diabetes: non-insulin diabetes that typically develops with
age is less likely to affect those who consume wine moderately.

Bone Power: a scientific research has found out that the wine
drinkers have good bone strength and they have less chances of Osteoporosis.
It reduces the rate of bone fractures.

Wine just doesn't stop there. From your top to the bottom, wine offers a glassful of profits. These are the only ones, which are scientifically proved till now. As the wine rebellion achieves even more ground, and more studies are performed, the profit of wine may persist to be known more and more, pouring good health on all who drink it.
